The day you become hoggish, and wish to get "lucky", is the point you squander all of your cash. Sounds a little strange, but it seems to be legitimate. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t worry about losing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other evening with twenty dollars. I couldn’t care any less about losing it, who cares about twenty dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 in profit in 2 hours!
Another occassion I was at the casino with my buddy Bob. I took in 100 dollars that I couldn’t afford to squander. I got greedy, I got scared, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in thirty minutes! The lesson is never wager more than you are able to lose. If you don’t care about losing, you have a greater chance of succeeding big!
What other ways can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette besides creating a budget? Never wager on single numbers! Sure, they come up every once in a while, but they do not come up enough to guarantee a steady profit. Just wager on 1:1 wagers e.g. black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers e.g. 1st dozen, 2nd 12, third 12, etc Wager on odds that pay pretty big.
With the basic rules covered, how else can we further boost our chances of winning at Roulette? By turning probability into our friend, as opposed to our opposition. "You can’t succeed at Roulette", my buddy Charles would say to me. "It is absolutely random because any number can come up". Absolutely, my friend Steve has a point, although at the same instance, he is missing a significant aspect of the picture. I absolutely agree, red or black could come up 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
